Hurricane Damages Home

SERVPRO of Bryan, Effingham, McIntosh, and East Liberty Counties deployed an emergency storm team throughout the aftermath of Hurricane Irma to ensure a fast and quick restoration for the homes that were damaged. This home was no different. A roof leak caused damage to this hallway pictured. The carpet was beyond reparable so we removed the area that was damaged. After we removed the carpet, we then placed dehumidifiers to remove the moisture in the air caused by the water that was absorbed by the carpet. Finally we sprayed the area with a SERVPRO approved cleaner to reduce the probability of mold growth in that area.
