Mold Remediation in a Savannah Basement
The first photo illustrates mold damage in the basement area of a Savannah home. A water heater supply line had sprung a leak and went unnoticed for about one week. The water wicked up the drywall, saturated the baseboards, and that was the invitation that mold spores needed to germinate. They rapidly produced numerous mold patches and the best option by our techs was the demolition of the lower wall material, after using humidifiers to evacuate the remaining moisture post water removal. We treated the mold damaged areas with an antifungal spray to inhibit future fungi growth and restored the basement to its pre-loss condition "Like it never even happened."
