Water Damage in Savannah
After the air handler in this unoccupied residence in Savannah malfunctioned, water flowed onto the carpeting in the hallway. It was discovered within several hours which fortunately limited the on-going water damage. Our SERVPRO tech trained in Applied Structural Drying (ASD) and our Carpet Cleaning Technician
(CCT) teamed up to mitigate the water damage by removing the waterlogged carpet and disposing of the saturated backing. They quickly removed the standing water to salvage the floor molding and wall wainscotting. The carpet was dried, and dehumidifiers finished removing moisture from the hallway. We reinstalled the carpeting after treating the affected areas with antifungal and disinfecting products. Contact
